Buckeye Oil Equipment was incorporated and opened for
business at 702 Brown Street on September 14, 1966.
The first sale of equipment was made to Producers Oil
Company on September 19 and consisted of two Fill-Rite hand
pumps at $20.20 each.
The first service call was made on September 20 for
Mobile Oil Company and consisted of repairing an air
compressor at 1601 Germantown Street in Dayton.
The first written purchase order was from Marathon Oil
Company on September 20 and was signed by Harry Hassett.
The first check was received by Duncan Oil Company in
the amount of $65.86.
The company was purchased on April 1, 1997 by David Dean
from the company's founder, as well as David's father, Carl
Dean.
The company relocated to its current location on May 1,
2006.
