Our History

• Buckeye Oil Equipment was incorporated and opened for business at 702 Brown Street on September 14, 1966.
   
• The first sale of equipment was made to Producers Oil Company on September 19 and consisted of two Fill-Rite hand pumps at $20.20 each.
   
• The first service call was made on September 20 for Mobile Oil Company and consisted of repairing an air compressor at 1601 Germantown Street in Dayton.
   
• The first written purchase order was from Marathon Oil Company on September 20 and was signed by Harry Hassett.
   
• The first check was received by Duncan Oil Company in the amount of $65.86.
   
• The company was purchased on April 1, 1997 by David Dean from the company's founder, as well as David's father, Carl Dean.
   
• The company relocated to its current location on May 1, 2006.
